Hey BFHL GMs
The site now has the schedule made up and the season is pretty much ready to go on weekdays starting October 11th, 2010 @ 8:50pm! What you need to do from now til then is to fine tune your line ups. Some notes to consider:
Hockeys Future has released its revised Top 50 prospects.
The BFHL has summarized the prospect list based on which team owns the rights to that prospect. The league looked at three criteria:
Quantity of Prospects: Simple count of the number of prospects each team owns. Bombers has the most number of prospects. Expected average is 3.1 prospects (50 / 16 teams).
Everything up to date (except multipostion, got an error ran out of time, will squeeze in later today)
Teddy Purcell offer sheet accepted! [EDIT: Bullies does not have the required Year 3 - 3rd round draft pick to give an offer sheet. Offer is null and void.]
If you haven't seen the results yet for the September 26th free agency, check them out here! The site/sim has been updated with these results and all transaction requests up to 6pm PST on the 26th. (let me know asap of any issues)
OFFER SHEETS
Aviators - Nick Foligno accepted Nokians 1 year @ $1,020,348
This is bound to leave a sour taste in GM Vince Lee mouth as Foligno rejected a multi year deal
Just posting up the unaudited initial results... updating the sim as we speak so you'll have your rosters to play around with. If you upload lines, I'll update the sim Tuesday, maybe Wednesday depending how big the demand is.
Note, 0% probabilty means there's no way you're getting that player to sign! Think of it as he'll rather play in the KHL :)
**Let me know ASAP if you've noticed any problems! The League files are updated including all buyouts/incorrect players on unassigned/prospect activations and successful FA signings**
Well it turned out to be an eventful day 1 of BFHL Open Season Free Agency for some GMs!
We have two offer sheets on RFAs. The owning GM will need to decide if they will match the offer or let them walk and take the compensation (if any).
A few people were not clear on this:
Farm cap is $2.2M, but NHL players in the farm are at 10% of their NHL salaries. In other words, you can sign $22M of farm players MAX. It would count as $2.2M in the farm.
So your total cap is $59.4M pro.
$22M (pro salary) in farm which would be $2.2M (equivalent farm salary).
Hope that clears things up.
Alright, the unaudited results are in below. You will notice that maybe some of your bids are not listed. It's because there's already a higher offer and no point to list the other offers. In case of a tie, the bids are not listed either. Remember, if you're REBIDDING on a player, it has to be a min 10% from your previous offer.
I will update the sim later tonight, INCLUDING Prospect activation requests. Will also check for proper "re-bids" if any.
*** Another Note! The unassigned lists shows players with contracts. You can IGNORE those since we are using the Free agent tool to sign players ***
All,
Anthony's tied up or he was afraid to keep spamming all our GMs so he made me send this update!
