In anticipation of the trade deadline, the BFHL has dug out the entry level contracts for the top 10 draft picks since 2005. This was done to assist GMs thinking about trading draft picks; the GM can determine what the potential cap hit may be for a particular pick and how long it may potentially take for those players to develop.
You won't put new BFHL GM, Grady Roy, in the shaker category. Since officially taking over the reigns of the Giants over 1.5 weeks ago, GM Grady Roy has been quietly observing the team he has inherited. He has finally taken his one time free player release and first dibs at UFA option, choosing to bring in Jason Spezza and Tom Poti while releasing Radim Vrbata, Jim Slater and Bruno Gervais.
With the active player movement happening, Storm decides not to risk having an offer sheet given to Drew Stafford at the deadline and have come to terms with the RFA hold out on a long term four year deal at a considerable discount.

Sorry for the delay in getting this message out. I would like to welcome New Giants GM, Grady Roy!
