So how was your BFHL draft class of 2013?

Hey BFHL GMs

Hope your enjoying the summer so far.

Thanks to everyone for getting the draft done.  I will be processing everything by this week hopefully.  Also really hoping to be able to give you an update regarding new ratings shortly as well.

Meanwhile, what'd you think of your draft?  You can add content to the site simply by creating some team news where it can be imortalized forever and ever and make us realize what Jay Feasters we all were years from now.

Value of a Draft Pick

Various researchers have tried to value draft picks based on various metrics.  Below are a few interesting ones for GMs to consider as they manage their teams in the future.

No matter what metric you value it by, it's clear earlier picks are exponentially worth more, and values evens out in the later rounds.

Communications

Some are more active than others, please do not harrass by too many emails and please do not ignore emails.  If you're not ready to commit to a trade offer, just say so.  It is better to say something within a few days.

Bombers End of Season Report (2013)

Baghdad (AP)

Bombers made significant progress this season, bolstered by two significant signings.  Patrick Marleau and Martin St. Louis provided the necessary leadership and scoring and helped elevate the team into a conference final.  St. Louis was especially thrilled at rubbing it in against his former team, Nokians, in the divisional final.  "GM Ng has no appreciation for talent, that's why he dropped me during free agency last year.  I'm glad my 10 pts that series helped put a nail in his team's coffin, " said the sniper.
