Season Starts Oct 24th! Get your Rosters and Lines ready!

Pre-season is done and we're ready to go with the regular season on October 24th, 2016!

Remember to switch your STHS file over to the BFHL8 regular season one.

A few of you guys really need more cap space, here's an idea of the warnings I already received, so please make sure you can manage it without causing me any extra problems or we'll be waiving someone or apply salary cap penalty or something depending on the issue.

Here are the last batch of signings before the season starts.  Next openings would be the first of each month until February.  Once February comes, you can submit sheets any day by 9pm until the trade deadline (to be determined, probably early March)

We're still in pre season but it's important for you to manage your line ups a little bit.  We will implement penalties this year for overly nelgected line ups and especially ones that cause problems for smooth game simulation processing.  We're not expecting daily attention but perhaps with the ability to set rosters for your next 10 games, that would be a good baseline.​  We'll provide some guidelines as to what a penalty will be but don't expect a "menu" of penalties as each incident is probably best served on a case by case scenario.

A way to ensure very little problems is to have a lot of cap space Wink  The less you have, the more work and attention your team will need.

Got caught talking in circles here and now I don't know exactly what I was trying to acheive with this post way back.

Just to clear the way for this season, we will continue as per our rule book regarding activated prospects this year.  If they got activated you can drop them to FA without any penalty.  Before the season starts please.  We'll see what prospects are left to be activated (signed by NHL) and the last bunch of them (if any) will be Sunday and then no more activations.

Here's a list of ALL the prospects that have ratings.

Hope everyone is having a great thanksgiving weekend!

We're getting a good warm up into the pre season now, let us know if anything seems off and we'll see what can be adjusted.  EG: sky high penalties for some reason so I've dialed it back by 50% to see how much that affects things.

Salary Cap 101.  Respect the cap! Smile  Just a little reminder that we need to respect the cap. It will prevent us from simming games.  Sim problems makes me grumpy.  So don't go over cap.
