Hope your summer has been good so far! Sorry about being so quiet lately, but rest assured, We've been thinking about BFHL Season 2 this whole time! ;) Too bad this is like the worst off season ever for the NHL as well! Nonetheless there have been moves and players retiring/playing in the KHL blah blah. This does mean said player would be unavailable to play on your roster for the 2010/11 BFHL season.
Congratulation to the Storm for winning the BFHL 2009/10 Championship and in very surprising and convincing manner!
Thanks for all your participation in this first season of BFHL and hope you all learned a lot and enjoyed it! Thanks to my commishes for helping getting this season going and fine tuning of rules! We've got more to work on in the next year!
Aviators getting all the luck. After dispatching the Dunlops in four games, the rest of the series have all reached the limit with the last two to be determined today. Nespresso edged the Nokians 4-3 in OT last week without Sidney Crosby and will miss his services for two more games in their next series versus the Aviators.
In a somewhat surprising turn of events, first seeded Storm was pushed to the brink of elimination in game six by the Supastas but was able to force a game 7. Ettenig and MDMM will finally determine their see-saw battle tonight.
The Aviators have swept the Dunlops in their first round play off action. Thier dominant play over the course of the season has carried over into their first round match up. Could it be their players are sensing that this HAS to be the year? :)
Congrats to the eight teams to make it to the first BFHL Playoff rounds! This is where it really counts, after enduring a marathon 82 game schedule, we are fighting for bragging rights! One day the BFHL trophy may evolve into something a little bit more prestigious but bragging rights are pretty good! Oh and last pick overall hahaha.
I really slacked on the last week of the lotto, mainly because I was the only entry!! Anyways, I declare myself the winner of BFHL Lotto Week 13! Woot! Show me the money.
