Wow it's February and a lot of you guys have been waiting for this day or something!  Going forward, signing sheets can be submitted everyday until the trade deadline of February 27th.  The cut off time is 6pm Pacific, sharp and it you're past it, the sheet will wait for the next days roll.

Crazy schedule continues for me, was away from home for 3 weeks, well there was a mix of "Vacation" in there, if you call driving from Montreal to Ottawa to Toronto during snowfall and running around visiting family vacation... lol

Wish I had some time to pay attention a little! Nice bit of unrestircted free agency action this round! Sorry it took me a bit of time to get around to it. I've been completely swamped with work and travel. Barely even keeping the daily sims going, nevermind opening another spreadsheet!

With the way the NHL has burst out this season, our 2-1 games are no longer representative

Have made some adjustments to the sim settings AND made a global change to four goalie stats.  Reduced by 5 points the following: Rebound Control, Style Control, Hand Speed and Reaction time.  Some checks seem to improve the variability of the box scores some but will continue to monitor throughout the season.

As a little bonus for going for it, I'll be offering a small reward for the division leaders, conference leaders, President and BFHL Champ.  They'll have extra draft picks in the 6th round, with the BFHL Champ picking first, then Presidents, Conference Leaders (higher points first) and division leaders (higher points first).  The picks will be tradeable assets.

Hey Everyone

Thanks for all your efforts to get your team to at least 35 players to start the season.  On that point, it was the easiest season yet to get that participation so we're really rounding out into a solid group of GMs.  We have some challenges like making sure some of you can OPERATE during the season within the cap but I'll trust that you each will manage that effectively without league intervention.

Remember, a bad cap means a hard stop in simming until it's fixed for the team.  Historically, I've been very lenient on these issues, but this year I'm probably going to be too busy to deal with problems.  I may just end up dropping your highest priced player lose a draft pick as penalty and call it a day. PRESEASON DOES NOT validate salary cap.
