(Left: Protests at Lake Titicaca emerge following the trade of Martin St. Louis)
Dear GM Ben Cook,
The BFHL playoffs has become a fading dream for the Alpaca Dynamite. The recent 5 straight losses solidifies that fact, but the truth is making the playoffs died when you took control of this hockey club.
Under you, our top scorer Ilya Kovalchuk and our captain Martin St. Louis were traded away! How could you do this to us? It's like you gave up on the team... we never did. Martin was a fan favourite in this country - a true leader and despite his short stay, a real ambassador of the game. His replica jersey was a top seller with the fans and now he's disappeared like a fart in the wind. I purchased a St. Louis jersey for my son and boy do I feel ripped off. I know I am not alone in this regard.
Mr. Cook, you owe us an explanation. Why did you make the moves you did? What is the direction of this team? Why do we have such a crappy logo? We haven't heard from you in weeks and that is just disrespectful to the fans! I am sure you are aware that ticket and merchandise sales highly contribute to your over inflated salary!
Disgruntled fan,
Jose Santana
Note: A press conference was scheduled today for GM Cook to address the player movement as well as the team's recent decline in the standings; however, due to security concerns, the GM has been relocated and his whereabouts have remained hidden from the public.
