It's that time of the year, where GM's eschew all reasoning and go crazy trading their players. Unlike that bush-league NHL, BFHL GM's were NOT shy trading their captains and future star prospects, with such names as Kovalchuk, Sedin, Horton, Heatley, Gudbranson all changing uniforms.
Below is a brief summary and the BFHL's assessments of how well the team did. [EDIT: Comments made by Bombers and Worgs GM]

Developed a strong pipeline of young players, with Gudbranson, Callahan, Mueller and Montoya. Also opportunistically received a revitalized Kovalchuk and some good prospects. |

Appears to have dumped salary and received some cap flexibility. |

Great pick up in Perry to help defend the BFHL cup. Gives up some quality players, but considered excess inventory to the team. Views the 2011 draft as weak anyways. |

Reshuffled lineup and obtained a solid defensemen. Appears to have repaid debt to Bombers GM for a previous favour by trading Lucic. |

Team stayed the same with an emphasis towards youth. |

Picks up Horton and Johnson, which could develop into solid players. Great top 4D pairing with Johnson, Ehrhoff, Bieksa and Wideman. May have gave up too much for Sedin considering Kovalchuk's play has rebounded (and also potentially could have been signed for cheap). |

Acquires a veteran goalie to help with their playoff push. |

Acquired a #1 goalie and added to the plentiful of picks he already has. Will be interesting to see what happens during the draft. Preparing to trade up in the draft? |

Nokians traded power for finesse in his deal with Alpacas. Tightened up the D with the Worgs. St. Louis' experience and leadership will greatly help push for the BFHL Cup. |

Needed more forwards as he only had 11 before his trade with the Worgs. However, it is noted that it's more difficult to get offensive D's than offensive wingers. |
