More Draft Details / Draft Order

So with the first draft day coming this weekend on the 20th, there are some questions to be answered.

First and foremost, note that we will be using both the conference call information that has been set up and emailed around plus we'll keep in online chat contact within the Google doc draft list.  Opening the window for chat instructions are at the end of this article.

Next, to make your life easier, it would be good to change to a view that sortable AND will help give you a running total of your salary (note that farm players make 10% of their salary (as long as they play less that 25games).  Here are some easy steps to get you to the right place. 

  1. When you open the draft list at http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AsG6_C8f02j6dHk1ZGNDZHRZa1l1V1d…
    goto "View" and change to "List View" as shown below:


     
  2. You will get a view something like this, notice all the nice and filterable/sortable columns!  You might want to increase the number of rows per page to 1000 to have it all on one page. That's why mine screenshot show 1-981 of 981  rows.

     
  3. Say you want to filter for your team, select your team name in "Drafted By" column

     
  4. And Voila

Note that the chat window is not available in this list view and only in the "normal view".  So what you can do is open two windows and have one set on normal view and one set the list view.  That's gonna make you want to have dual monitors haha :)

Anyways so you know what the chat is supposed to look like

  1. Notice in the normal view, at the top right corner (circled) there will be some text about who's viewing.  Click that double arrow pull down or anywhere on the blue should work.

     
  2. After clicking the area, the chat window should open up like so

Note that the rounds will go 1->16, 16->1, 1->16, ... etc.
