So if you haven't already heard, Canada Juniors threw gold away in the third period with a 3-0 lead. They lost 5-3. Good for Russia and good for Canada even I say as competition is good thing.
So what does this mean for BFHL? Don't draft any Canadians this year? hahahaha. Russians would be an interesting group because of their resilience and ability to storm back with five unanswered goals in the final period of a gold medal game. However, we all know about the big question mark whether Russian prospects will wind up in the NHL.
Worgs and Hornets can breathe a little easier with Brayden Schenn selected tournament MVP plus top forward and Ryan Ellis as top defencemen. Worgs definitely could use something good to look forward to ;)
