Deadline is September 20th, 8pm PST. The following one are likely weekly at the same time.
This signing dead line is for your OWN Free Agents Only:
- Once chance to sign your own free agents before the open market.
- You may only sign ONE long term contract (5+ years) per season.
- Restricted Free Agents (RFA) only need a qualifying offer to retain their rights at a minimum, but may get offer sheets from other GMs.
- Decide who you want to keep and who you are willing to let go
- I prefer how the old roster list that shows all the PRO and FARM players unsigned.
- Any player that does not sign or get qualified will be removed from your team and available for following free agent signing periods.
- DO consider you prospects that will be autoactivated this year (see last email/post).
- DO look ahead at free agents or pending free agent targets for subsequent free agent signings!
- REMEMBER: You need a minimum of 35 signed players AND you will need at least 3 goalies! (In case of injuries).
- Max Salary Cap: 95.5 Million [Updated June 2025]
- Min Salary Floor: 70.6 Million [Updated June 2025]
- Farm Cap: $3.453 Million (Players in farm are 10% of Pro salary, meaning you can sign $34.53mm of NHL Salaries in the farm team)
Email me the free agent file, you can send it to the BFHLAdmin email. If the email to me is not timestamped at or before 8pm pacific time according to my mail server, the file will not be accepted and you must submit your bids next round. Players that did not sign will be dropped from your team.
