Congratulation to the Storm for winning the BFHL 2009/10 Championship and in very surprising and convincing manner!
Thanks for all your participation in this first season of BFHL and hope you all learned a lot and enjoyed it! Thanks to my commishes for helping getting this season going and fine tuning of rules! We've got more to work on in the next year!
The off season is upon us so you may be wondering what's next? While most of you will now be taking the summer off, we will still be working hard in the back ground to get ready for the next season. We will have a free agency tool developed to get your pending free agents signed and then there's the open market! Dates for these will be announced later on but I'm thinking it may happen at the earliest mid July but probably sometime in August. We have to await the results of the player re-ratings and I'm not sure when the guys that do this will have it ready.
Also on the horizon is the entry draft. It's never too early to get your wish list going. I think it will be a five round draft so no where near as intensive as the ones we've gone through to start this first season.
Please feel free to make trades (players, picks, prospects). We'll just collect them in the forums and process it when time gets closer.
Finally, we do have some spots open so if you know of anyone who'd like to join up, let us know!
