Well, the first week and a bit has been producing a decent spread of results in my opinion!  Nobody's complaining about the scoring so that's great.  Still may be a few tweaks in the coming weeks.  Just need more datapoints before deciding.  Some of you, get some decent lines in so you don't skew the results!  Would be interesting to see how the league looks when everyone is giving some effort to win.

Just a heads up I'll be traveling for a few weeks coming up this weekend.  Simming may be erratic, I'll see how it goes Smile  This time it's for vacation at least.  Hope I can actually let go and get some wind down time!

For those of you in Hong Kong or happen to be there, I'm hoping to meet up with some HK based GMs on Nov 8th.  It would be really cool.  Will keep updated on the whatsapp group when it gets closer.

Upkeep of the league is really a no fun, time consuming process.  You each should be trying to keep your lists clean.  Definitely if any of you see someone that simply shoudln't be there anymore, drop me an email on who and where and I'll clean it up.

I've been asked in the past why some players are still available in BFHL and it's a good point.  We are one year behind the NHL so that's why players that retire the previous year are still listed in our league (eg: Sedins).  I also want to know what you guys think about not allowing trades of players, over 24, that are inactive for the past season or more in the NHL or AHL.  They are still the team's property but can't be moved unless they show signs of activity in the pro leagues.  You know, for example, those promising Russians we love taking a chance on but they can never adjust to North America period.  They don't add value so why bother with doing anything with them at all?  That's just my perspective as the person, with limited time as is, who has to deal with them Smile

Thanks!

Anthony
