I know it's tough for you all waiting for this to unfold but if you are able to take the time away from the action, you can peruse throught the 2017/18 BFHL Ratings Preview. Usually might get a small correction here and there but it's going to be pretty much it. Remember the overall rating is just a calculation of the other rating numbers and will be different as we move along because the calculation method is different from what I used to post the ratings and what's in our league now.
The plan is to stick with what worked best in terms of sim play in prior seasons. Which means Version 2.1 sim with the ratings that tend to have higher scoring and super goalies. We haven't done it before with a 24 team league so it may be very different compared with a 20 team league in the past.
We'll be going through some rounds to test and hopefully find a decent compromise.
