Now you can take a break until we kick off free agency probably in late August, early September.
You can see the potential guys available here... PLUS there will be "extra's" that fail to sign in the very first round.
Here's what to expect.
First Round is our "July 1st"
- What this means is that there will be a one time deadline (Date TBA) to submit signing sheets to me.
- This first deadline is ONLY FOR YOUR OWN players.
- So it simulates the NHL deadline for when players become free agents
- Any players that don't get signed will be available on the open market.
Subsequent rounds will happen weekly after that, usually a Sunday deadline where you evaluate which players are important for you and decide which one to pursue. You can't really do a massive list because you need to be mindful of your cap and meet the minimum 35 players signed requirement that we have.

I had been discouraging the existing GMs from approaching the new GMs for trades. We are down to the finals for playoffs, new GMs have assets now, so it's time to open the door to for submitting trades to the site.
Beware of wolves.
Everyone, watch the conditionals. Anything overly creative I'll start rejecting this year. I don't want to draw a firm line as I don't want to supress your ability to trade but at the same time if you start thinking hmmm, what would commish think about this, it's probably not good 
I dislike too many conditions in a trade and also conditions that depend on other trade conditions, so lets try to avoid those 
(Might end up sounding like NHL Department of Player Safety Suspensions random results!)
After the playoffs, at some point I'll get the league set up with the new teams and have all the players you picked assigned. So there will be a emails scattered throughout the summer to check on things for correctness as I get to them.
