I finally got around to updating the players list to include goalies that played less than 10 NHL games. This is due to the major goalie shortage we have and everyone needs a mininum of 3 goalies. So now there's going to be a few more to draw from in the unassigned and a few more activated from Prospects. No goalie hoarding please 
A reminder about the $7,777,777 salaries. They are players that came from your prospect list and do not yet have NHL salaries. Or maybe they do now and it's not updated. Nonetheless, when we get the information we'll update it. Feel free to let us know if any of yours need updating. Hopefully all the $7,777,777 salaries get sorted out before the season starts!
Buyouts! I got reminded that we are following NHL buyout rules since the newest CBA. We never really updated the rules page for that but all the details we're trying to do is in this previous post we made from a while back. So be mindful in your team planning that we do have salary cap of $71.4 mil in the pro and floor is $52.8 mil. The farm cap is 2.587 mil (Players in farm team earn 10% of their pro, so essentially $25Mil of pro salary in the farm).
You NEED to be compliant to our mininum of 35 active players on your team rule and salary caps before our season starts. (watch out for those temporary $7,777,777 salaries in your calculations too 
Thanks everyone for thier efforts for a relatively smooth draft so far. It started pretty good but lately the pace has died off since it is harder to figure things out in the later rounds and well it's summer! If you're struggling to figure out what you want to do, there's always the go by next best available player according to NHL draft. Just let us know if you would like to do that. Lets get this draft finished.
On the topic of summer, I'm sure a lot of us like to relax on the hockey talk during this time but please me mindful of any communication from other GMs or the league and don't leave them hanging. If you're not ready to talk about something a simple note saying so would be greatly appreciated.
Other than a few updates here and there, the action starts up again in late August/September when our free agency period begins. I'm looking to cap our, before the season starts, free agency to maybe 4 or 5 rounds max and randomly add some guys at 90% to those under the minimum of 35 players. So make it count!
