After a hard fought battle with Supastas in the first round of the playoffs, Storm has defeated Ettenig in the Conference 2 finals. Knowing that the job is not done, the Storm players did not touch the Conference 2 championship trophy. The Storm get some well deserved rest before their biggest challenge of the year..... Aviators getting all the luck. After dispatching the Dunlops in four games, the rest of the series have all reached the limit with the last two to be determined today. Nespresso edged the Nokians 4-3 in OT last week without Sidney Crosby and will miss his services for two more games in their next series versus the Aviators.
In a somewhat surprising turn of events, first seeded Storm was pushed to the brink of elimination in game six by the Supastas but was able to force a game 7. Ettenig and MDMM will finally determine their see-saw battle tonight.

The Aviators have swept the Dunlops in their first round play off action. Thier dominant play over the course of the season has carried over into their first round match up. Could it be their players are sensing that this HAS to be the year?
